Two people were injured in a stabbing incident at the Grand Central Subway Station in Manhattan on the recent Christmas Eve in New York City.


On Christmas Eve, a man attacked two people with a knife at the Grand Central Subway Station in Manhattan. The victims are a 42-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman. They are currently in stable condition. The suspect, who is homeless and mentally ill, has been arrested and faces charges of assault and intimidation.


New York City Crime Control:

New York City is failing to control crime, and proposals for solutions such as expanding the NYPD, revising criminal justice reforms, and establishing new public safety leadership have been suggested. – The Atlantic


City officials have deployed additional police officers and taken other measures to increase safety in the subway system. However, commuters feel that more effective actions are needed.
